Does this work with Claude Code / Claude CLI?

Yes. The same MCP endpoint works from Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, and Claude Code — connect once and use whichever surface you prefer.

Do I need to give Claude my WordPress password?

No. Authentication uses OAuth or WordPress Application Passwords — Claude never sees or stores your main login credentials.

Can Claude publish directly without my review?

By default, no — every action is draft-first. Pro adds an option to override this per-user if you want direct publishing.

Does it cost anything?

The core plugin is free on WordPress.org. Pro ($29/year) adds full-site management (menus, categories, comments, custom post types) and per-user AI context.
